These are the Final Rankings after Round 6 in Oschersleben (Germany) in every category. Gratulations to all champions and number 2 and 3.
We proudly present the Entry List for Round 6 of the NSC on October 4, 5 and 6 at the Sidecar Festival at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben (Germany). There are 4 F2 teams present that will participate in the 2025 TT on Isle of Man and 2 F600 teams that will combine the NSC with the World Cup round in the same weekend. And with teams from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, UK and Estonia, this will be a guaranteed spectacle in this awesome weekend. All championships have to be decided and with double points it’s hard to predict the outcome. On Saturday the organization will try to have at least 200 sidecars on the main straight, in which we will participate of course. More info will follow.
This is the time schedule for round 6 and final round of the NSC on October 4, 5 and 6 at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Free practice on Friday 4th 15.15 – 15.35, two qualifications on Saturday 5th 10.45 – 11.05 and 14.05 – 14.25 and two races on Sunday 6th at 10.45 and 16.05. These are the rankings for F600, F2 and 1000cc during the Open Trophy at the Chimay Circuit on the weekend of 27 and 28 July.
With heavy hearts and completely devastated we bring you the sad news that due to the terrible crash in the second race of the Northern Sidecar Cup in Hengelo in the Netherlands, our dear sidecar friends Franck Bajus and Christophe ‘Pin-Pon’ Darras both lost their lives.
They passed away in the hospital as a result of that crash. It is hard to grasp the tremendous loss their families and friends are now facing and our hearts and thoughts are with them.
The MEFIE – TE team has been part of our really close sidecar family since the first year of the NSC and was at the heart of a large group of regular French participants. It was always a pleasure to greet the two cheerful faces of Franck and Christophe on the paddock at every event. With a lot of humor and a mixture of French and English we experienced many wonderful moments together, the deep shared passion for racing transcending all language barriers.
These moments, we know, are shared by many as Franck and Christophe were very loved by all fellow racers and the larger sidecar community. We will cherish those memories and hold both friends in our hearts forever. They will be remembered always.
We had a wonderful memorial in Assen to commemorate Franck and Christophe. Their starting number 162 will forever symbolize our friends Franck and Christophe.
You can now register for all rounds of the Northern Sidecar Cup 2024. Again we were able to fill the calendar with really nice and challenging events on great tracks. So far we have 5 events, but we are still nagotiating with some organizations to join their event.
Some of the events will have the situation more teams can join the practice, but less are allowed to start. In this case the ‘extra’ teams can practice, but only start at the races if one of the ‘allowed starting’ teams fails to start in the race(s). If any of the ‘extra’ teams cannot start in a race a partial refund will be given on the paid entry fee.
This year there are three separate championships in the Northern Sidecar Cup, 1000cc, F600 and F2. Next to that teams score points for both Belgium and Dutch Championship.
All the events for 2024 are:
- Round 1: April 13 & 14, Croix-en-Ternois (France) € 275
or
- Round 1: April 12, 13 & 14 (including Trackday with 5 sessions), Croix-en-Ternois (France) € 375
- Round 2: May 11 & 12, Hengelo (Gld, Netherlands) € 295
- Round 3: May 24, 25 & 26, Assen (Netherlands) € 410
- Round 4: July 27 & 28, Chimay (Belgium), € 310
- Round 5: October 5 & 6, Oschersleben (Germany), € 310
To participate you must meet a number of conditions:
- You must have an International or European license.
- Your sidecar must meet the requirements in accordance with the technical regulations.
- The noise level of 102 dB, statically measured, is the absolute maximum.

Entry is only valid the moment the payment is done. The more events you drive with the NSC, the more guaranteed your spot is.
Cancelling your entry can be done up to 6 weeks before the event with a refund of the entry fee minus € 50. After 6 weeks no refund will be possible.
